Me and my son travel around pokemon shops and today we drove for an hour to vistis the 2 in chesterfield... After a poor experience in the other shop we went to geek headquarters and it couldnt have been a better experience!
We were welcomed as soon as we walked in, the staff chatted to us and showed interest in what we pulled and best of all all packs/ sets / boosters etc were RRP!! Just what a Mum of a 13 year old Pokémon fan wants to see! We spent hours here, talking to staff and customers.
Later when we were walking around 2 lads asked where we bought them and we knew which shop in chesterfield to direct them too! Obviously geek headquarters!
Thank you for such a wonderful day! And for making my experience of getting my first card so memorable, we will 100% be back, its worth the drive!

This was a great experience for my kids and their friend who had a session in the crazy cat lady room. The staff were friendly and informative with a games master watching over them for the entire hour, which gave us reassurance they wouldn't misbehave! There is a waiting area downstairs for you to sit while the session is going on which allowed us to peep into the other rooms on offer which looked amazing.

This is a place for true hobbyists of all kinds. I went in to enquire about Gunpla, which sadly they don't stock yet, but the level of transparency and information shared with me, just a browsing customer was fantastic. The gentleman took me through what potential alternatives I might be interested in and spoke with passion and clarity. Plus the inventory here is outstanding, even without having precisely what I wanted, there was so much choice. Personally I think this is a must visit, particularly for TCG players of seemingly all game systems.
Will 100% be making a return here when my pockets are healthier!

Amazing place for all fellow nerds and geeks when it comes to collectables, board games card games, mini figures for table top top games and so much more. Amazing staff that are very knowledgeable and can have a great laugh with. Highly recommend for all.

Guys behind the counter seemed disinterested. When we asked questions (new to collecting) we got just one word responses, or told that they don't sell X product anymore - didn't offer alternatives or ask what kind of thing we were looking for, just a complete lack of interest. We were willing to spend a fair bit to kick start our collections, but the staff just didn't seem to care unfortunately.
You guys need to remember that not everyone that walks into your shop is a seasoned veteran that knows everything about your products. :(

My youngest son loves coming here especially to play Pokemon. I also enjoy taking part in some of the Lorcana events. Kind and helpful staff. Great atmosphere, everyone is welcome. Geeks have been around for nearly 10 years ( 10 in August) and over the years I know they have done a lot of events to raise money for different charities. ?
