Been coming here for many years .Very quite today when came in staff seemed a bit moody had stake pie,mash,peas & gravy .last few occasions pie dinner not been as good as usual and thought give it another chance ,both dinners ordered came out cold mash took back told us she was going to give us fresh dinners.
They warmed it up instead and bought back out definitely not fresh as I stabbed my pie with knife earlier and wife's pie had a piece out which she ate earlier before warming up.Pea's hard ,pie over cooked with soggy Pastry and meat tuff ,Mash watered through with previous gravy only thing new was more gravy added.
Never had to take anything back in past years got the feeling staff were not bothered very reluctant to have stake pie or give the cafe a break for a while ???

A no pretence cafe, extremely good breakfast (a bit of a feast), friendly staff, comfy and clean.
