“They have an excellent telephone support service -The Telephone Befriending Service - for elderly persons living in Bolsover, Chesterfield and NE Derbyshire. The charity's service offers weekly calls to elderly persons wanting company and companionship, who might otherwise be feeling lonely. For some the calls can brighten their week up, for others the calls can be a real lifeline.”
