Called in here a few days ago and bought some kingston memory, the memory was placed in a paper bag rather than a anti static bag, and of course when I got it home it was curupted and didnt work,I guess the old addage is true "Buy new, buy once, buy from CeX buy twice"I have my recipt but have seen how they embarras customers who return items which are faulty, so thats not an opption.Will not buy from here again.

Bad attitude from the staff , terrible prices. Must be run by a circuses ceo absolutely the best joke of an establishment. The only reason for the 2 stars is the few staff that are decent people but will eventually use the staff revolving door after realising ther worth in life and leave

Great friendly staff. Though you have to ensure you get the right grading of products you sell. Though they don't ripe you off if you present a well looked after piece of tech that is clean.

Shop can be ok. But seems what they sell and will buy in are 2 different things moans about a scratch but what they sell are scratched.. most staff friendly n helpful tho.

Never going to shop or sell at any CEX ever again! I took my laptop to sell it due to upgrading and wanting to use the money to buy a camera from them, when I got there, they inspected the laptop and told me a completely different price as to what was on their website, i challenged them and they finally gave in a offered me what was the CORRECT price, i then asked for the voucher price as it was 20£ more, they then told me it would take 1 hour 45 mins for them to do their checks on the laptop, so I went around town, waiting for the time to go back and collect my money, when I got there, they said "bad news" I knew something was up.. they then said the screen is "falling off" and they "should've seen it" before telling me to wait just under 2 hours and went to show me the edges of the screen which looked completely fine! Absolutely no reason to reject my laptop. They then had the cheek to ask me if I still wanted to buy the camera (why I say this was cheeky will make sense soon) So after wasting my time I then went home and decided I will keep this laptop, after going through all the setup I came to the final part where It asked me to connect to a WiFi, I waited and waited and no WiFi option had appeared, I then did some searching online and found a way to bypass the setup and after I did that, I was searching youtube for hours trying to find a fix to get back a WiFi connection on my laptop, nothing worked! This morning I go to a reputable laptop repair shop, one I have been going to before and very happy with their services, they told me 'someone' has corrupted your network drivers, I instantly knew it was the staff at CEX because when I took it in, the laptop was absolutely fine and 100% working, I then told the story to my friend who works at the laptop repair shop and he affirmed to me that this issue doesn't just occur on its own, someone fiddled with the drivers, so CEX have proved to me that they are dishonest and very crafty when it comes to trying to buy things, they want it at a cheaper price than you expect. Anyone who reads this I strongly advice you to STAY AWAY from CEX, boycott at ALL costs!Nasty nasty service from them!
