Great coffee, but service needs improvement
The coffee here is fantastic, and their Christmas drinks are a delightful treat. However, the service can be frustratingly slow, especially when the blonde woman is more focused on her phone than the long queue of customers.

I wrote a review years ago and at that point it was the best Cafe in Chesterfield, sadly that's not the case anymore. The variety of food is good but rarely are they fully stocked, most of the staff look disinterested and scruffy, it is very dirty in places being in desperate need of a good clean and some renovations. It regularly smells of drains too.
I get the impression there are too few people with too much work.
I've held off writing this review but it's been this way for a good while now unfortunately.

I did a review about 2 years ago saying how tired it was and in desperate need of a refurb.
This is now very desperate for a refurb.
Coffee is excellent. Staff polite, too.

Wilfred enjoyed his visit here but his cappuccino was more like a latte, it needed more froth.

It is a comfortable spot to stop by as you go and have a snack or a hot drink. It's an amazing place to hang out with friends...
The cheesecakes and cinnamon rolls are our favourite! Lovely staff.

Excellent, new trainee barista friendly quick and then a gorgeous cappuccino. Great to be in a coffee shop that treats you as an individual. Can't recommend enough. Updated Aug 2024 still the best coffee in town.

Very disappointed after our visit, everywhere looks tired, worn out and grubby. I'm not sure how they are still allowed to open for business when the premises have serious damp issues and water running down the walls. The local Government Food Inspectors obviously can't be aware. As for the coffee, it's weak and warm! With respect I'd avoid at all costs!

As a rule this is my favourite coffee franchise however the chesterfield branch has seriously gone down hill over the last six months. Not sure if it is the limited passing trade now because so many shops have moved or closed down.
The staff don't seem happy in their job and just seen to be going through the motions.
Food quality and availability has dropped.
It is very obvious that some of the Danish pastries have been re-baked.
Absolutely no atmosphere.
Love the coffee so I am sorry to give a poor review.

Use to be good here but its losing its edge. Got our overpriced drinks wrong and unenthusiastic staff who dont seem to care. The place is starting to look grubby and a lot of empty glasses and cups are left on the dirty tables.
