This is suppose to be a chemist it's simply not fit for use in a community full of people that need important medication that keeps them from life threatening issues 4 times in the last 15 weeks I've been an staff stood outside because the pharmacist hasn't turned up so their not allowed in I order mine through the NHS app had to start ordering it 2 weeks in advance to give it a chance of being ready guess what still not ready then I actually pick it up get home 4 out of 6 items missing go back down we can't do it now you'll have to come back I mean seriously this is the worst service I have ever experienced for such important medication and the place is filthy inside absolute disgrace who ever is managing this place needs to be sacked seriously

No issue with staff always friendly but prescription is never ready and always told to go back either later that day or the day after. Working 5 days a week I try to collect on Saturday mornings but on at least three occasions it has either been closed or the pharmacist hadn't turned up so they can't open anyway. Not good when you need medication. Emailed complaint but didn't even get a response. Today, was the last straw after 2 years of poor service, so will now be having my prescription delivered elsewhere.

Called yesterday to enquire if family member could pick up prescription only to be told by the man on the phone don't bother coming today we aren't open now at around 1-2pm on a Friday. Told to come on Saturday morning, went down on Saturday at 11:10am and the shutters are completely down.
Edit: My review has been updated as the practice manager has since taken steps to address the incident and resolved this with me. Thank you very much for your excellent customer service.

Unfortunately if a pharmacist doesn't arrive by law this size store is unable to open. Some stores can. There were two members of Boots staff there this morning but were unable to serve people. There is a notice on door signposting people to either ring 111 or visit Chesterfield branch where they are aware of the issue. It is not the fault of the staff who work there.

Sort yourself out Boots.... I've been using this chemist on Heath Road Chesterfield for the past five years and can count on one hand the amount of times my medication has been on time and complete... Today, having given ample notice (5 days) I have attempted to collect my prescription only to be informed AGAIN that I need to return tomorrow... Whilst normally this is inconvenient I have recently been discharged from hospital and am unable to drive, now means a walk of 40minutes.. considering I have had surgery on my spine is not an easy task. When I enquired about the lateness I was advised to either take my business elsewhere or return tomorrow.... As I feel in this instance I've no choice but to return tomorrow it will be my final use of your company..

Absolutely Shocking pharmacy.Never answer phone , always late doing your prescription because they are very slow even when the doctors have sent it early . Boots. Best thing you can do with that pharmacy..is shut it down!

Complete joke, never have prescriptions in and been waiting over a week for a child prescription which is needed always come back tomorrow then oh sorry we don?t have it ! Needs to be sorted
