Good range of food but overpriced in comparison with other supermarkets

Love going here. Tend to have all the bits I can't get at the bigger supermarkets in buxton which is amazing considering how small the shop is!

A dreary store that needs a refurbishment, has done for many years.

I actually hope this feedback makes a difference because this is the third time I am complaining and I don't see results.I have a baby and looking at the shopping trolley plastic moulded baby seat, they are all super dusty, dirty and even mouldy, which I found absolutely unacceptable. Waitrose claims to be a very posh and high standard place to shop, but hygiene wise it has disappointed me very much, specially when it comes to my baby's health.I communicated my concern a few times already with a few members of staff, they apologised and said they would do something about it and every time I go back the problem is still there. So I am never able to use those seats. A member of staff actually told me that they are not used much and that's why they don't clean them, which again, I find unacceptable behaviour and attitude. If those trollies are not used, they shouldn't be there, period.I hope you take action on Buxton store, because I am clearly not going to go back if that doesn't change.

The main thing which stands out about this store is the staff. The staff are the most friendly, helpful employees of any supermarket store I have ever been in.It's also great to see Waitrose investing in the store, with new lighting, freezers and self-service tills. The range of produce is reasonable for the size of store.I'd love to see the store be open later at least a couple of times a week as 7pm is quite an early close, especially when compared to other supermarkets in the local area. Also, if the store could stop putting expensive glass bottles on main routes (Such as the entrance) that'd be great as I'm always nervous i'm going to knock them over.

You have to pay for parking. Aldi and Morrisons are close by and free to park at.

Found inside the world's smallest shopping centre. If you park outside you'll have to pay, the car park isn't free. The supermarket itself is fairly small. They do have a nice alcohol section, and a bakery, but the Isles are fairly small and the supermarket itself feels cramped and pokey.A few tills running plus self serve which had a massive queue. Not bad, but I wouldn't rush back again.Considering its supposed to be a top end supermarket , it doesn't feel like it.
