I have been a customer for many years. Always a first-class service. Prices are reasonable choice is also exceptionally good. Very friendly service. I fully recommend the team at Buxton.
Just visited store again for some new readers. As usual all staff extremely helpful and friendly. Low prices too.

I do not even want to give 1 star. My mum aged 94 was treated appallingly by the audiologist I think Zoey was the name. She basically shouted at my mum in the waiting room because she could not hear and infront of everyone broke all confidentiality by telling my mum was deaf as a result of her dementia, which broke confidence and humiliated my mum, who kept asking me if she had dementia. I asked if she could speak to my mum in a quiet room as the waiting room was too noisy but she said she had no time. Two people came to me after we left and said how disgusting it was and should be reported.

An appalling experience - not a true representation of other Specsavers stores. Staff were difficult, the optician went home early which meant our purchase was delayed and everything was a battle to get my child?s needs met.
One member of staff was friendly, caring and apologetic - Thank you Bethany. The store manager was incredibly poor and impersonal.
I?d recommend choosing another Specsavers branch or trying Vision Express across the way.
**The response below is laughable - I have emailed the director and it?s been ignored. I?ve been waiting five days for a response. This has just been put on here for public view**

Optician failed to arrive in time for appointments still not there after 45mins of waiting. No plausible reason given , decided to leave .

Been here since I got my first pair of glasses around 2019, staff are always really helpful and quick. My recent visit, I was in and out within 10 minutes. No messing about and lovely staff.

The customer service in this store is incredibly bad £60 for two eye tests second was contact lenses test waiting 40 minutes past my appointment called today to ask if they arrived been over a week waiting 20 minutes for someone to answer then told had to look downstairs will call back in 15 minutes well over 8 hrs later still no call I shall get my contacts and never again step inside this joke of an opticians and they charge the earth more people stood around twiddling thumbs
