We found High Peak carpets easy to speak to but just never delivered. We waited weeks for them to fulfil our order and in the end gave up and went to Mister Carpets in Bradwell who were excellent.

They mean well, and they're good people. ..They're just REALLY old-school, and INCREDIBLY disorganised.When you call them, or pop in to see them... there is always a sense of panic from them. Bit stressy, you know?I still use them as my local... But here are my top tips for dealing with them...- If they say, "I'll call you back in 2 mins" ... You'll need to chase them 2-3 times over the next 2 hrs.- If they say, "We'll be there between 10am and noon"... That actually means "between 1 and 3pm"- If they say, "I can get that in stock for next week.."... It actually means, "chase me in 10 days and I'll order it then, so you can have it two weeks later"- If they say, "I'll write down your number so I don't forget"... It actually means, "I'll write down your number, but then lose this bit of paper, so you'll have to call me back anyway"..All credit to the fitters though. Young lads with a bit of gusto, that do a great job. ..(and I get the feeling they're held back by a bit of the disorganisation at the shop/office) ...I kind of feel for the fitters. I can see times when they've been left short of time to fit me in, for no reason other than clerical disorganisation/double bookings etc at the office..All in all... solid 3/5... and could very easily be a 5 on 5 with some updating to their systems.Like I said... lovely people, just a bit haphazard/old-school with their methods.

Fantastic service, Karl was very helpful and non-pushy and we got a great deal on an Ottoman bed with storage, plus a carpet for my lad's bedroom. Carpet fitters came exactly when promised and did a great job in fitting the carpet and delivering the bed. Would highly recommend. Great shop!
