We spotted this on the drive home from Chrome Hill and knew we had to go back. Great book selection and we were pleasantly surprised by the prices. We will definitely be back and hopefully will be able to get a table in the cafe this time! Takeaway coffees were still lovely, though.

Haven't been for several years. Loved it then but adore it now. So much to see. I purchased a wonderful shopping bag covered in robin images. The cafe was busy but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. My friend and I relaxed at a table for two and studied the very mouth watering menu. The prices were reasonable and the food quality was excellent. The pot of tea for two contained real tea leaves and it was quite nostalgic to use a proper tea-strainer and rest. Two poached eggs on wholemeal toast were exquisite and very filling. The memory is making my mouth water!

Delicious food. Yummy cakes. Great value. Very busy when we were there, a reflection of how good it is. Staff delightfully calm. Had takeaway sandwiches on previous occasions also excellent. On our list for a return visit!

Staying at the Duke of York campsite down the road and popped in here on the off chance for lunch. Was met with a waiting line for the cafe and boy was it worth the wait. Great value and tasty food. Pork pie platter was lovely and the special smoked cheese and spiced chutney also.Great coffee and friendly staff. We will be back.
