“During my stay at The Palace Hotel Buxton & Spa, I was immediately struck by its grand Victorian architecture and sense of history. Walking into the lobby felt like stepping back in time, with its high ceilings, chandeliers, and elegant décor. The location was perfect—just a short walk from Buxton’s Pavilion Gardens and the Opera House, making it easy to explore the town.

One of the highlights was relaxing in the hotel’s leisure facilities after a day of sightseeing. The pool and sauna were a great way to unwind, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My room, while spacious, did feel a little dated, and the furniture could use some updating. However, the bed was comfortable, and I had a peaceful night’s sleep.

Breakfast in the morning was enjoyable, with a good selection of hot and cold options, and the dining area had a lovely old-world charm. While there were a few small inconveniences, like extra charges for parking and Wi-Fi, the overall experience was positive. The hotel’s character, history, and unbeatable location made it a memorable stay.

“Started off with swim only membership got bored so joined the gym as well, speaking to the staff got persuaded to join the classes, never thought it would be my thing but love it,only downside is not enough early morning sessions as I prefer to go first thing before work”
