“Brought our society to play and we weren’t disappointed, course was good and challenging despite the winter weather it’s recovering well. The pro was easy to deal with and set up the day and the service from Fiona with breakfast was excellent and breakfast was the best we’ve had so far. The whole day was excellent from start to finish it’s well worth a visit.”

“I've only been here twice. Family live in the area. On the 2 occasions it has been booked for family events . the atmosphere is nice. An absolutely beautiful setting on the Derbyshire moors. A buffet was provided . And it was very good. Hot buffet of pizzas, lasagna ,chicken curry ,chicken noodles chips rice salads garlic bread plus some sweets. All being freshly cooked and replaced as necessary. Staff very friendly. The venue is cosy and there a large stone seating area right off the main room where you can really take in the beauty. I'm told it's in the top rankings as one of the best golf courses in the country. But,I'm with Mark Twain as far as golf is concerned. ?. But it certainly is a glorious view.”
