A new Indian restaurant has restaurant has recently opened at Cottons which is in the centre of village. Beautiful food which can be modified to suit your tastes, good bar, new restaurant and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Does a take out service. Great value for money.

Called in for drinks during a walk only to find it under new ownership, and now serving authentic Indian cuisine. We ordered starters and mains. All the food was fantastic and we'll definitely visit more often.

Stopped for a midweek evening meal. It's just changed hands so they weren't fully up to speed, e.g. limited food and drink (hence only 3 stars overall). However they did cook up a fantastic butter chicken tailored just to the right level of spice for me. Interesting to see how the place develops.

Do not book this hotel. It has closed and been taken over. The new owners do not answer the phone and the booking made with the previous owners via booking.com is not recognised. Booking.com are sending us round in circles asking us to try contacting the hotel where they are failing to get a response and refusing to refund until after the booking date has passed. Due to the uncertainty of the situation we have had to cancel our event.
