Was in for my parcel. No note put through letter box. Parcel undelivered with excuse of inaccessible. Delivery Office recorded message of 25 mins wait on phone to be answered - unusually busy at this time (probably a permanent message) - I paid extra to receive parcel today, but clearly no attempt was made. Very poor service!!! Very annoying.

The Royal Mail Automated, "Something for you" missed delivery service is appalling. 35 minutes to fill in redelivery on line and line my doubled checked reference is quote "unknown". So I ring the help line to arrange a redelivery or arrange to collect at Buxton sorting office. The system does not recognise my request. Their on- line web site via google only says open til 12.00 noon and not if that is Mon to Fri and Bank Holiday and does not say from what opening time. A total shambles. But then thaT IS PRIVATISED british with a small b that has forgotten what customer service is.

According to the website Buxton sorting office will be open 8-10am Monday to Friday 8-12 Saturday and 4pm - 7pm on Thursday. I went on Thursday 6 Oct. to find the evening session on had been removed. Why can they not update the website.

Called up in person to collect a parcel today (14 July 22). Two very nice and helpful ladies working in the collection room today.Note: hours since the end of 2021 have been 08:00 - 12:00 on weekday mornings not 08:00 - 10:00 as Google lists. Have suggested an edit to Google. Thanks RM staff.

absolutely horrific open times. Firstly the postman does not even knock but quietly slips a note through the door saying I had to go to this god-awful place, turns out they are only open two hours a day at the worst times possible. How is this even allowed?

I wish I?d read the reviews first as I turned up today as website stated open Friday 4-7pm only to find whole place locked up. Please update your website with any new covid opening times

I have been 3 times to collect my parcel the times l can collect are limited. I was met by a very rude man who snapped at me for ringing the bell twice as l wasn't sure if it was ringing then when l picked up my parcel my plant was very dead. Not happy!

Exellent service at the window except for the arrogant jobs worth in the yellow visa glasses and shorts teling me off for parking where i shouldnt have his manner wasnt very good to say the least.I asked him where to park he replied no idea bv not in here. Like i said his manner stunk.

My wife has just walked all the way to the Buxton post office depot to pick up a parcel that we had a card for only to find that the opening hours were only 08:00-10:00, as opposed to 07:00-13:00 as stated online. Why can they not put updated opening times online, it's ridiculous. Poor Poor Poor

"Last collection times may vary and can be as early as 30 min before closing time" according to stated info on their website. I planned my pick up around the state opening times and the office was closed on both visits. Appalling, get more resources. Justify closing 30 mins early when you only open for two hours, people travel to get to the sorting office based on your opening times. I'm going to make you jump through hoops now on a rearranged delivery.

I didn't catch the gentleman's name who was working there today (around 12:30pm and wearing glasses).He was tremendously helpful and smiley on what is otherwise a fairly bleak day. We had a good little chuckle together. Really added some goodness to my day.Thank you Mr Postman man
