I have an elderly grandfather who comes to boots pharmacy for his prescriptions. He has memory problems which occasionally affects his speech and we are always patient with him when he talks to us. Boots pharmacy staff on the other hand have clearly had no training on how to speak to customers. They rudely told him along the lines of: to go and sit down until he?s got his words together. Understandably this made my grandfather very upset and embarrassed and he now no longer wants to return to the pharmacy because of this incident. Boots should be ashamed of themselves and certainly need either new staff or retraining. They should be held accountable for their behaviour and how they make their customers feel, it has a long term impact on people and is not the caring and compassionate service you would expect from your local pharmacy. DO BETTER BOOTS!

I have always found boots pharmacy buxton a mess they seriously need to update the system.
But today we went in for my sons adhd meds unfortunately it was bank holiday so only open 2-4 pm
Regardless of the fact my son ran out a week prior .he had previously gone in last Thursday to be told it wasn't there.the woman on counter today snapped at him it was ready on 14th.it certainly wasn't
But I am more disgusted with how certain customers were treated today by rude disrespectful staff.
We were accosted at the door by a very angry looking woman stating it was urgent prescription only.then asking people before they were allowed in what their meds were I think that should be confidential..customers were made to feel like an inconvenience.
But 2 customers in particular bothered me
1 old gentleman ,clearly a frequent customer the woman at the door questioned him very rudely in front of other customers..I saw the woman at pharmacy counter turn to pharmacist and say oh great this will be fun, when she saw him.
And another elderly lady queued for ages to get to the counter asking for some simvastatin as she had run out good Friday, I know they could have given her a couple to see her through until Tuesday she offered to pay they could have made a note on system.but they sent her away .

Can?t believe how rude staff was on cosmetics till today. She was so bad tempered . Tried to see if any of my coupons could help me pay and get rewards but all she wanted was for me to put my bank card in and wasn?t wanting to help me. She repeatedly kept asking to put bank card in.

I?m a member of management myself within a Buxton retail store and I would never EVER be so rude to anybody, the way the pharmacy staff were to me today!!!
I?d popped in for my niquitin Patches as I?ve gone over one month not smoking, and a member of staff was so god damn rude to me!
I shall be popping in to speak to the manager as she was not in today!
Absolutely disgusting for a pharmacy!

You need to order your prescription well in advance of when you need it as it takes days for them to prepare it. I ordered my repeat prescription on line on Monday, Tuesday my doctor confirmed they had processed my request. Wednesday Boots texted me confirming they had received my prescription and they would contact me when it was ready to collect. I waited until today (Monday one week on from my order to the doctor) and called in to see if it was ready. Still preparing it and can I call back this afternoon, they have had people off sick!!! I wouldn't mind if this was a one off, but it seems to happen every time I try and get my repeat prescription. Ridiculous.

I went into the store about three weekends ago to get some dextro pills because my sugars were going low and they were packed out down the bottom end of the perfume aisle pharmacy would not help me and those two on and I find it very disgusting and the woman was very snobby with me and I did not find that acceptable. I got a little bit snapping because they would not serve me when there was two of them and I appreciate so so staffed but this woman her nose was too far in the air, no wonder they took Concorde off, because it was too stuck up treating people respect is a way forward not treating us like a load of delinquents you don?t understand that?s exactly her words that is not a medical professional acting like I was a piece of mock off her shoe, so sugars are got low
Who was I got for? It is very disgusting. I?ve been in other chemist and they?ve always been so helpful. This chemist used to be the same no wonder they?re shortstaffed because nobody wants to work for a company that doesn?t appreciate and try and look after their colleagues workers the end of the day we?re all people and this is why I had to change because I was Dorset packs and they stop doing them where they put your medication so you know your times because I?m not very good with that kind of stuff and a lot of other people either they just don?t seem to cater for people anymore like they used to they brought all the chemist up and then because of that they had to close down because it all comes down to money money money

Has wide range of toiletries medication make up counter. Electrical goods hairdryersshavers electric tooth brush etc. Photo graphic development printing machines. Good pharmacy helpfull staff reasonable prices .Good prescription service now has hearing test room.

Rude staff. Was in today. Asked about the product which shows as available in the shop on the boots app . the person I tried to speak to turned her back at me and made it very obvious she could not care less about customer?s enquiry, she even didn?t bother to check . Unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
