Food was ok though not a vast amount of choice. The peas were freezing cold but we were given fresh hot ones when we pointed it out. My wife had a pile of rock salt on her plate when the meal arrived.
The room was uncomfortably cold and we had to eat our meal with our coats on.
All in all not a pleasant experience and not that cheap either. Unfortunately will not be returning for the foreseeable future.

I had Cornish pasty and chips. Ok ISH. Partner had mixed kebab and woke up this morning very sick. Imo the food was obviously pre prepared as we received it within 5 mins,so don't think hygiene standards were followed. Wouldn't recommend.

We had a wake at the Greyhound yesterday (21st March 2024). Lovely buffet food, especially the homemade chips and Indian platters... Amazing staff and really nice atmosphere. Could not have wished for more.

We went for Christmas Dinner 2023 What an excellent time we had. There were 12 of us and all the staff from the bar, front of house and kitchen staff couldn't do enough to make sure everyone had a relaxing Christmas dinner. Well done to every single member of staff ? highly recommend
