I?d like to share some positive feedback for Carla at Specsavers, Belper. She was extremely professional and helpful when assisting both my wife and my son with their optical needs. Carla took the time to explain everything clearly, making the whole process smooth and reassuring. Her friendly and attentive manner made us feel well looked after, and we left confident that we?d received excellent care. It?s because of people like Carla and her excellent customer service that we, as a family, remain loyal to Specsavers. A real credit to the team at Belper Specsavers.

I?ve just been asked how I?m getting on with my new glasses, before they are even ready. They should have been ready two weeks ago. Needless to say I wasn?t best pleased to get an email asking me to submit a review!

Everyone I have spoken to at this branch was very polite, The Optometrist was excellent and explained to me very clearly for instance the OTC scan I paid extra for. I had chosen this location as it is near one of my places of work and is convenient for me to visit during my lunchbreak.
Unfortunately when I moved to the customer service side, I didn't receive any worthy advice. Firstly the assistant (I assume she was new to the role) advised me I could pick any glasses and receive a £50 discount due to the VDU eye care voucher I had presented issued from my place of employment. I asked her to check, as I was under the assumption that as my glasses were for distance I could only claim £20 on frames above £100, she checked with a colleague and then confirmed that I was correct.
After a few minutes of perusing the frames I was 90% sure of what I was likely to choose, however I didn't have much time left of my lunchbreak and I wasn't confident that my assistant would be able to complete her sale in good time. I asked if I would be able to complete my order online and still receive the £20 discount my Assistant's colleague informed me that I couldn't do it online, I could look online and then call them to process it, 'Brilliant' I said 'I'll do that! as I won't be back in Belper for a while'.
I called this morning, to place my order and receive my discount, Inadvertantly I created confusion and I was informed my pupillary distance was required to be measured, 'not a problem' I replied 'I know what it is'. No sir we still need you to come into the store was the reply, (I won't be).
All in all I spoke to 4 people in person and over the phone, receiving contradictory information, Training and information support for the employees appears to be somewhat lacking!

Cannot praise this store and the staff enough. Every staff member was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and despite it being a Saturday when I had my eye tests the process was really quick and efficient. No pushy sales, all advice was genuine and personal. Thank you!

Staff I saw were polite and efficient, if not exactly friendly, had to wait quite a while for eye test, was told someone would help me choose my frames (needed several pairs) but nobody came, asked a young member of staff who tried to be helpful and went to ask other staff if they could help me, but still nobody came, so I decided to just pay for my eye test and buy my frames elsewhere, they didn't seem bothered to lose my custom.

I attended Specsavers Belper with a slight concern regarding my right eye. I then had an appointment withy the Audiologist for my hearing aid MOT. The Opthalmologist refered me to the Royal Derby and I had a letter by e mail before I arrived home. The Audiology appointment was also excellent and my earing aids reset to better suit my needs.

Specsavers Belper gave me excellent service when I attended with visual problems, which turned out to be torn retiana sending me for urgent attention at the Royal Hospital Derby. I am now recovering from laser surgery which was done in day clinic !

Just had my routine eye test at Specsavers in Belper. Friendly and efficient staff made the whole process so easy and efficient. Excellent work from the opthalmist who explained every part of the test so well. Thankyou Specsavers Belper!
