I would give 0 stars if it were possible. Rude staff of aggressive young people who want nothing to do with customers. Hardly any stock available in the store. Go to nearby Tesco instead.

Co-op Food on Whitemoor Lane in Belper is such a handy local store! It?s always well-stocked with all the essentials, from fresh produce to daily groceries. The convenience of its location makes it perfect for quick stops, and the opening hours are great for anyone with a busy schedule.
The staff are always polite, helpful, and make you feel welcome, which adds to the overall experience. I?ve noticed the store places a strong emphasis on sustainability and ethical sourcing, which is a big plus. They also have a good selection of locally sourced products, which is fantastic to see.
Whether it's for a quick top-up or a full grocery shop, Co-op Whitemoor Lane never disappoints. A great little spot for the community!

We went for Christmas Dinner 2023 What an excellent time we had. There were 12 of us and all the staff from the bar, front of house and kitchen staff couldn't do enough to make sure everyone had a relaxing Christmas dinner. Well done to every single member of staff ? highly recommend

Visited the Greyhound today and last week with friends. Both occasions were faultless. Excellent value Lunctime menu. Service is always friendly and meals are very tasty and quick to arrive after ordering. Just wish more people would give this pub a chance at lunchtimes. They are really missing a treat.

Popped in at 7pm tonight hoping to get a hot meal and received a very warm welcome. Got a couple of pints and a table for two and ordered the homemade pies and curry of the day off an extensive menu. Lovely meals and didn?t have to wait long and we were impressed with the very friendly service. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Just wanted to say what a lovely meal we had at The Greyhound Belper on Saturday! Our starters were delicious and perfectly sized. The mains were just as lovely. The thing that impressed me most was the child's fish and chips that I ordered for my 1 year old (she eats loads!). It was a proper meal just smaller. No fobbing us off with processed rubbish just cos kids "don't appreciate good food" it was proper home cooked chips and battered fish with juicy peas. Decent price and sized kids meal! The beer was also good. The dessert was a proper homemade cheesecake. Overall massively impressed!

Myself and my partner made an impromptu visit to The Greyhound. We were cordially welcomed by Ben who had recently taken over as landlord. We stayed in the bar area and ordered our food. (There is also a slightly more formal restaurant area if you prefer). There is a good selection on the menu. I decided on the mixed kebab and my partner had the jerk chicken. Both meals were delicious as was the ice cold Moretti. We will be visiting again soon. Recommended.

Nice welcome. Waitress was so friendly and lovely Food was ok. Prawn cocktail was served on a hot plate , so ended up warm and runny! Roast beef dinner was ok, but they had no horseradish ( co op is next door so you?d think they?d buy some from there ) Fish and chips were nice. Burger was nice. Lasagne was ok. Best thing we?re the homemade chips, can?t comment on Dessert as we didn?t have any

Another fantastic meal ! Had the valentines special menu .. steak and sauce well worth the extra few pounds .. lovely atmosphere with a helpful friendly team.. highly recommend
