Opposite the old Mill in Belper it's neo gothic style architecture and has some beautiful stained glass. We went to a mass mid week and it was in a side chapel. It says the church is all inclusive and that proved to be the case. We were made to feel most welcome by the local parishioners and the priest ( though a traditional said mass ) made the sermon highly relevant to contemporary issues . For a mid week mass it was very well attended and we were invited to take coffee afterwards and meet the priest and congregation : they were so friendly and amiable. This is what a church should be like !

Beautiful Victorian Church, if it's open, do spend some quiet moments here. You will feel spiritually revived!
