The customer service in this place is exceptional, not only do they make you feel welcome, it feels like you have just sat down with family at times, it really is that welcoming. They also do not skimp they make sure you are well fed.

Waited 55 minutes for toast and a tea cake, tea cake arrived but still no toast. I did remind them after 30 minutes of being there, but still no hurry. It?s not even that it was busy it wasn?t and 2 people had to send there breakfasts back. They just didn?t seem bothered. New girl on the till who was not getting any help. Poor all around.

Showed his true colours at a recent LGBTQ pride event. Shame Murat's behaviour towards volunteers and stewards, especially women, sullied the business's good food. Disabled car pass for your wife doesn't allow using your car to push and threaten people.

Visited on a Saturday after 2pm. Was surprised they didnt have most of the menu items available. Waitress said the chef had not been shopping and the oven was not working. We had avocado on toast and it was actually very nice. However would have been nice to have the whole menu available. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely lunch here today at Cafe G, the staff were very friendly and the food was delicious ( halloumi wrap). It was my first visit, but wont be my last.

Untrained poorly treated staff served up mediocre (at best) food so it's a definite NO from me. Save your money and chose anywhere else in Belper.

I received a text message asking me to rate this Cafe 5 stars and was offered to pay for this lie. Because I have not even been to this cafe. So the good ratings of this cafe are most likely fictitious.

We enjoyed a tasty lunch in the garden at the back of the cafe. Eating Mediterranean food in the sunshine, we could imagine we were on holiday. The people who run the cafe are lovely, too. I'd definitely return for another meal.

On Saturday I asked for 2 mugs of tea as they had mugs..only to be told they could not put tea in them.So I asked for 2 pots of tea and got only 1..young lady obviously no commonsense.Trust me i can put tea in mugs.Their cups are small..last time we go in..

Amazing authentic Turkish food. First time visiting today. I had Turkish shepherd soup and my husband had stuffed Turkish pittas with kofta and shepherd's salad. Gorgeous food and lovely friendly owner. My shepherd's soup was cooked by the owners 78 year old mom.... lovely experience and will definitely be returning

Visited G Cafe last Sunday for family breakfast. I ordered Mediterranean Breakfast which was very disappointing for the price. Worst coleslaw I?ve ever eaten with ridiculous amount of mayonnaise in it. Extremely greasy piece of naan bread with oil dropping down, covering all the rest of the food on the plate. Best thing on the plate was salad and few olives. They could definitely put more effort into £12 meal. My partner ordered Kebab wrap which was extremely greasy also. There was lots of oil dropping down from inside the wrap so eating it without having an accident of getting dirty was almost impossible. Table next to us which came after us received their Mediterranean Breakfasts first even though my partner and son were already eating their food so I had to wait for a while before my food arrived to the table. Our Turkish coffee never arrived. We ordered one together with food and asked our server twice for it but by the time we got our food, ate it and was ready to leave, coffee was nowhere near ready. Very poor experience. At the end my partner asked for manager contact details just to be informed that they are not allowed to share that information. Worst customer service experience ever and food isn?t good neither so if you?re in Belper, I will highly recommend to pick another place to have cup of coffee and breakfast. It was expensive as well as we paid almost £50 for 2 adult breakfast, child breakfast and 3 drinks. Never again.
