OK but not great. Food is pricey and the choice is very limited. The hot food was tasty but pretty basic, the sandwiches were on nice bread but lacked flavour - neither were worth the inflated price tag. Kids bags are very expensive for what they are. Staff on the servery were pleasant but we basically got bustled out by someone who came to clear our table before we had completely finished despite at least a quarter of the tables being empty (could almost have understood if people had been waiting for tables, but they weren't). Very unprofessional end to an indifferent experience. Really needs to improve to step up to the rear of the Chatsworth offering.

Tasty food and friendly service from the staff. Had hot drinks and cakes which were reasonably priced for the venue, but pricier than the typical chain coffee shop. Managed to get a nice table next to a Christmas tree. Cakes and hot chocolate were delicious. Tables weren't being cleared very quickly, although worth noting it was very busy. Will definitely return.

A lovely location on thr chatsworth Estate, but two things massively let this establishment down; 1 - all the cakes are uncovered, meaning that they are all extremely dry and stale (I go to chatsworth a handful of times a year, this disappointingly never changes, and I always include on the feedback survey I receive after each visit. Clearly nobody is reading them!) 2 - despite two hot drinks stations, there only seems to be one person at each, actually making hot drinks. Even when the queues are huge this doesn't change and I regularly see people put their tray back and walk out in frustration. The servers are maddeningly slow too ....or is that just amplified because we have to wait for an eternity to be served? I love chatsworth and am always hopeful these things will change; they are super easy to resolve and would make such a difference!

We haven?t visited for several years so thought we?d give it a go for lunch. Same old problem, once you?ve got your hot food you have to queue to pay behind customers who are only purchasing a drink, or cold food. Consequently your hot meal becomes a cold meal. Then you need to find a table. If you have a dog there is a designated area for you, unfortunately I noticed that this area was full, and none of the people in this area had a dog with them! Maybe a sign telling customers that unless they have a dog they should dine in the main dining area? There were plenty of empty tables. The staff also need some training in how to make a coffee, I requested a flat white but unfortunately got something that definitely wasn?t a flat white(see photo). Otherwise a very nice place to visit.

Latte is terrible here. It's like drinking charcoal. The cakes were so over priced I didn't even bother.

We dropped in here for a coffee and slice of cake whilst visiting the Christmas markets. For a Monday it was extremely busy, there are two areas you can get drinks from, the area on the left tends to have more selection, but the place on the right had a shorter queue. We opted for the right and were served by a lovely gentleman, very tall and double barrelled name, he was engaging whilst he prepared our drinks, having a good laugh with us. Then a very obnoxious elderly gentleman decided to jump the queue and demand to be served. The man was still serving us, and explained that there was a queue to Mr Obnoxious, but would be with him in a minute. Unfortunately this man decided to protest and demanded cakes etc, our server immediately and very politely just sent him to the back of the queue! Fantastic to see a proffesional dealing with a horrid customer! Well Done!

Went for a walk around the estate and popped into the cafe after. Good selection of meals, snacks and hot and cold drinks. I had an excellent cream tea at a reasonable price.

The food is at the best average and is overpriced. Taking advantage of one-off visitors is disgraceful.

Looks beautiful but the food was at best average and disappointing. Some nice staff, some rude and unfriendly. Upkeep of the dining area could be far better than it is. You can only dine out on your location so far, the catering services definitely need to up their game particularly as the cost doesn?t reflect the experience.

A lovely place for a coffee and cake. It is quite pricey for what you get but the service is good and the cafe itself is very clean and well designed.

Very average food for the price (mine was tasteless)and a canteen feel in the seating area. Very underwhelming experience. Best to take your own lunch !

Such a lovely place but my strong advice is to take your own food. The food is very expensive, even taking into consideration the impact of high inflation, but sadly if very poor quality. Sandwiches that are reminiscent of British Rail in it?s hay-day, and the quiches we chose could only be described as basic or as my wife suggested could be recycled with the plastics.I do not grudge paying for quality food i do grudge paying for inferior food at quality prices.Sadly it will take some time for us to forget this and return.
