First time customers today, my son is autistic aand struggles with new and busy places. He was a little overwhelmed at first but the staff were all fantastic and very understanding, we found a quieter spot and had a really lovely meal. Thank you all so much, we will certainly be back.

£16.50 roast beef lunch ...no Yorkshire pudding and no roast potatoes,lady said they scale down on a Thursday!!!Also beef very very dry and tiny portion! Only a spoon of carrots and cabbage . Great reviews, warm welcome, food looked great but they were not prepared to poach us an egg!
Farmers Feast is a family run business which is open to the public but also caters for the cattle and sheep farmers on market days ( usually Mon, thu, fri. )
If visiting on Monday’s main market it can be very busy but that’s when we have our full menu on including a full English breakfast and four roast meats with fresh vegetables etc.. you’ll be sure to experience a busy agricultural atmosphere !
We welcome muddy boots, dogs and cater for children too. We have a licensed bar selling local beers and spirits , tea , coffee and soft drinks.
On Sunday we start the day with breakfasts and at lunchtime we do an excellent Sunday carvery.
There’s plenty parking and Bakewell’s town centre is just a short walk over the river.
