Friendly staff and beautiful pub/restaurant. Went here after being disappointed at Pesto at the Peacock. Amazing dessert! I had the toffee banana pudding it was delicious. My uncle had the cheesecake which was also to die for. My aunt had the salted caramel creme brûlée, only criticism is that it was a little bit too salty. Coffees were also delicious, can?t wait to try the mains next time! Thank you!

Fantastic service all round! We booked a table for 36 people for a surprise birthday meal for the entire afternoon, the whole process was stress free from start to finish, brilliant communication and accommodating to our requests!
The day itself went perfectly, all food was DELICIOUS and the service was spot on, I think everyone commented that they wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.
We had the whole glass conservatory area, which is beautiful and the sun even came out so we could make use of the terrace area.
The childrens playarea was a real bonus and helped entertain our 2 youngest guests after the meal.

We really enjoyed our lunch at The Bluebell. It is intended a lovely billsge setting and the Pub and dining room are very nice. The food was very good too.

I was very impressed with the quality of food and the presentation of the dishes I ordered. The waitress was very helpful and pleasant and there was a nice seating area outside. I will definitely be going back for another meal.

We?ve had some really lovely meals here before but today we went for Mothers Day. All three of us had the lamb shoulder and non of us ate much of it. I understand lamb is a fatty meat but these were two thin slices of fat on everyone?s plate. The gravy was brown water. The fondant potato was powdery and wet and the salted celeriac was rock hard my knife could cut through it.
When the waiter asked if our food was ok I said non of us were enjoying it, sadly. I didn?t want to pay for this food and he spoke to the manager. The manager didn?t come over and speak to us it was all on the poor waiter. The waiting staff are the best here. They are friendly and attentive. Thanks to them because the food was sadly terrible today. Disappointed that the manager didn?t bother to speak to us but grateful we didn?t have to pay for the main as it was inedible.
Not sure if we chose our meal wrong but expected everything to be great from here as it has been before. Not sure we?d go again.

A little bit of a hit and miss food experience. We wanted to try the restaurant as it has great reviews. The starters we have the croquette and risotto and mains the lamb and the burger. The croquettes for starter were very nice with obviously a lot of work the risotto however was pretty plain and quite bland and not particularly appetising. For mains the burger was nicely seasoned good flavour and good portion and in contrast the rump of lamb was lacking in flavour in all compartments and in quantity. Very little seasoning and very little flavour in the gravy. it seems some dishes work well and some not so well. Our suggestion would be the dishes should be more proportionate to each other. Price wise not exorbitant but not cheap either. In addition from arriving around 7:30 and having a drink and ordering by around 7.45 both dishes had been served by 8: 15 so we felt slightly let down by the whole restaurant experience as it was all over very quickly. Slightly Blah Blah Blu Blu but I suspect if you know the best dishes to order it will be a nice evening's experience.
