A great little post office with a well-stocked village shop is essential for all those last-minute things you may have forgotten or need to pick up as you drive past on the A52?good, friendly staff who can help with all your post office or small shopping enquiries. Parking is limited, but I have never been unable to park.

A real lifeline for the local community. The shop does so much for the ever expanding village. Megan, the young lady who serves most mornings and saturdays is exceptionaly profesional and very helpful with nothing being to much trouble.

Brailsford stores and post office is an excellent service to the community it would be devastating to people who are on old age pension and do not have transport to Derby or Ashbourne you can shop there and the young lady who serves me helps me down the steps and takes me across the road carrying my newspaper for me to make sure i am safe i also use it as bank.

Great staff make every visit a pleasure. Brilliant service and a great range of food, drinks, magazines, greeting cards, newspapers - and lots more. Takeaway sandwiches etc too. Post office service is very knowledgeable and very helpful. Easy on-site parking.

Absolutely no concern for the security of Customers parcels which are dumped either in a totally open alcove in the shop or in a box on the counter. Both readily accessible by any opportunist thief. The overall impression isn't helped by the lippy chap in the shop, who surely can't be the owner, as he displays no Customer skills.
