Couldn?t be more impressed with the customer service from Halfords this week. I turned up 20 minutes before closing time with a dead start/stop battery in the car. Although I was told that these take much longer to fit than normal batteries, both Richard and Carter who were on shift dropped everything to find a suitable replacement, and then fitted it in just 10 minutes, in the pouring rain. They both went above and beyond to help me out and I can?t thank them enough. Fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable team, I don?t think I would?ve had that much luck at a garage! Thank you again

Terrible treatment today from Ashbourne Halford.headlight bulb replacement. So rude and made me feel I'll. Very complicated as I had receit from bulbs that where under guarantee. Never going to that store again. Booked online they where surprised that I was there,not expecting me. Horrible day ruined my weekend.

Don?t book a dashcam fitting here. Loads of availability online but the store phoned back twice to rebook in the same day as no one available to fit (sounds like the only person who can works limited hours). I asked them not to cancel my order since I wanted to rebook through their central customer service at a different store, but they just completely ignored me and refunded me anyway. Now I have to wait for money to go back into my account by which time the 10% online offer probably won?t still be running.

Went in to buy replacement battery for my car key fob
Young lad asked year and model of car but when I got home (20 miles away )
I discovered he had sold me the wrong battery !
How can he hand done this especially after looking it up on their computer

Very impressed with the staff at the Ashbourne shop, should have been closed but they stayed open for the 5 minutes I needed. Very helpful as well despite the time. Will return here before going elsewhere. Customer service is sadly lacking in many places but these guys have got it.

As a Christian I find it deeply offensive that a sign is up in this stores window saying ?Halfords supports LGBTQ+? I?ve left a review once expressing my disgust at this but the Store Manager had the review taken down, something which I don?t think he would have done had I said I was Muslim. This sign needs to be taken down. If this review is removed again I will be writing to Halfords head office and taking this to their legal department.

Needed new head lamp bulbs in my polo. Called in hoping someone could do it for me.....Josh came to my rescue, he changed both bulbs for me, not the easiest of jobs. He is 17 years old but his knowledge was unbelievable. Halfords you are extremely lucky to have such a superstar ??

Booked in for free road bike 35 point check at 16:30pm on 19th June 2023, But only did this as my gear cable on front is broken and made them aware and really all I need. They never did any checks or offered to once told this.The service was shocking the response I got which was a customer service staff named: Dean.?Oh I could POSSIBLY book in for Thursday? when I already booked for a check today. But like when you book car in don?t expect it to be another day.I understand if takes longer to fix or leave with them that?s fine but no effort or get up and go attitude at all from either staff there.And to finish it off the guy that does the repairs and checks wasn?t even in. Why do Halfords have a booking feature for this if you cannot fulfil it!?!?If not available website should show same.Dean at Halfords Ashbourne quoted £10 fix, I asked how much cable was and was £3.And what are the ACTUAL book in dates available and collection date. How hard can it be?!What a waste of time and effort. I will refrain from going Halfords for anything now. Well especially this store.@Halfords@HalfordsAshbourneWaste of time!Customer service is shocking!

Went to Halfords, Ashbourne to have 3 window wiper blades fitted. Service was excellent. I was helped byRicky who fitted them very quickly, despite a part missing!
