“I just wanted to write a review from an employee/apprentice point of view for anyone that is looking to join The Lounge team. I have now finished level 2 and 3 hairdressing training and have worked at The Lounge for 4 years. I have received an overwhelming amount of help and support from all staff members and I have been sent on a number of amazing courses with L’Oréal, Kevin Murphy, Daniel Granger and Rebecca Jacques. Now qualified I have already got a small clientele and am working towards being self employed. I have made so many fun memories and am excited to make many more as a fully qualified stylist!! It is the perfect place to start your hairdressing or beauty career !!!”

“My brother and his fiancé's wedding was planned for the third time this year on 30th July '22 and as fate would have it and on my 60th birthday.I live in Edinburgh and wanted to use a local hairdressers, however, had no idea where to go as my sister-in-law to be has had a guy visit her home to do her her hair for many years.I was recommended Kay & Co from a girl in one of my favourite clothes boutiques `Chic' in Ashbourne.Suffice to say, I felt instantly comfortable when I made my initial visit to the salon and met Kay, so much so that I made an appointment for a trial and an appointment for the actual day at that time.Kay and her team are absolutely lovely and amazing at what they do and would 100% recommend them. “Kirsty cut my hair, she was absolutely brilliant, the professional and precision cut is just what I wanted, she listened fully to what I wanted. I'll be booking in for a colour soon with confidence, after talking with her what is best I'm sure I'm going to be pleased.The only negative I would say was the online booking doesn't have the option to book a colour.Also; the hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows! was sooooo nice and above the 'usual' drinks in a hair Salon, sometimes it's the little things too that make a pleasant experience, lovely touch.Service: Hairstyling”
