Having approached the cafe/ restaurant from the unappealing weed ridden back entrance, we sat on an outside table which was pleasant enough. We popped in here for a coffee while exploring Ashbourne. What a gem - great coffee and a really good cup of chocolate. Like most of the pubs, bars and coffee shops in the Peak District, dog friendly with a dog 'menu' of chews .. we bought a couple for our pooch!

We went to have a nice meal on our Anniversary, just to do something different. We read the menu displayed outside and we thought we could have an English breakfast as we were on time for it.
