Had my dads funeral tea in the function room, we choose the traditional sweet tea, the food was beautiful, presented lovely, all fresh & plenty of it,served with unlimited tea/coffee, the staff were very friendly & attentive and couldnt be any more helpful.Id definitly come back here and reccommend highly. Thankyou to you all x

The whole place would do with a major renovation there are carpets everywhere which are not clean enough, the rooms have very tiny bed I'm 5"9 and couldn't fit on them. Poor sound proofing you can hear people in the next rooms and when they turn on the shower in short not a great experience.

Okay location. Rooms definitely need redecorating. Poorly painted all round. Showers barely worked/heated up. Was happy that they seemed clean. But good value for money so you get what you pay for

I was really dissappointed, I have stayed at the Waverley so many times in the past and have loved everything about it. But, this time, not so much. The rooms are very out dated, they badly need redecorated as the paint in our room was dirtly looking and even the ceiling had huge wet patches everywhere. You could not watch many channels on the tv as the internet did not work properly, luckily we had our own with the car we hired. Now the staff, they are what makes this place, they are amazing. We had an issue and they were on top of it straight away. The food in the bar is and always been fantastic. Renovate the rooms guys, keep this place alive

The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Food is very nice we both had a curry and friendly staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Thanks to the lovely lady who took our order and cooked my eggs so perfectly

Popped in after a football match with my son. Service was fantastic! My son who is 9, had homemade pizza and chips which he proceeded to tell me to write a 5star review as it was the best he has had! Will definitely come back! Thank you!

Nice rooms with kind & friendly staff. Breakfast was great!Nearby activities: Visited Workington AFC with Bradford (Park Avenue) great little ground only a few minutes walk away.
