Great team at Screwfix Workington. Very busy store but get through the queues quickly and efficiently. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here, very knowledgeable and helpful ??

Visited today with my elderly father. Store was quite busy but we were served very quickly due to plenty of staff on tills. Sid, duty store manager was extremely helpful. Always receive outstanding customer service from this store. Thank you all staff.

Sister isn't on Facebook, she purchased an electric water heater on advice of plumber that her old one was kaput, it turns out it wasn't. There was a delay returning it because the plumber had been on holiday, then had an accident. She'd rang to advise of delay and was given a code. Deputy manager Sid was very efficient, empathetic and extremely pleasant. sister got her refund of the unused heater , with a smile. Great service.

items out of stock until sale ends,item I looked at out of stock ALL over the UK at £109 but no bother getting it at BQ same company....at £140. eebauer 3 stack welled toolbox.wait and see what price it is when back in stock? One of the benefits of ordering from Screwfix is the speed with which items can be obtained from time of order to collection. In this latest case several electrical parts were ready the next day and others are taking about 48 hours from placement of my order in three evening. The store in Workington was well set up to deal with Covid restrictions but there is now no re-enforcement off Mark wearing and even staff no longer wear them .A clear queue system outside the shop is operated. Items already notified by text to be available are soon at the collection point. I just called in for some wood oil and was in and out within ten minutes without preordering. Of course, prices compare well with other stores of hardware and electrical items so they have plenty of stock. They also gives the level of service we always expect. Positive experience all round.

Went to buy some degreaser after reading reviews. To clean some oily car parts.Guy at counter miserable.To top it off NO NONSENSE DEGREASER worse than usless. Bought 5 litres petrol instead least that worked and it was cheaper.
