I recently went to Currys in Workington for a mobile insurance claim. I was helped by Mike, and his service was absolutely excellent. He handled everything with great patience, explained the whole process clearly, and made it very easy for me.
Mike?s customer care was perfect ? professional, polite, and very supportive. Thanks to him, my insurance claim was stress-free and smooth.

Staff are abysmal. I wanted to compare gas cookers, which are upstairs. I went up and waited....and waited, a total of 15 minutes. There was one staff member who was helping someone else. After the 15 mins I gave up to the job and went back downstairs, to see no less than SIX staff members just stood around talking amongst themselves. I am fuming, and I won't be back!

For one of the biggest tech stores in the nation I find it very disappointing that they carnet even offer any RAM for a pc that is in stock apart from bog standard cards! come on curry's step up your game this is why the internet is beating high-street retail you simply do not stock the products customers want and the products you do have are far too over priced.

Very hard to get any help from staff. When you do they often seem to have a lack of knowledge of their products. Big sign on the shop saying 'we are here to help' In most visits not my experience I'm afraid and will not be going back.

Alarming lack of basic training. Rudely refused completely valid, legal return on a faulty mouse quoting ?consumer rights are there to protect us as well as you?, the us being a multi billion pound conglomerate. Disturbingly incorrect, please be aware of your consumer rights if making returns as they will 100% try to fob you off.
Took multiple phone calls where at one point I needed to visit the store and hand my phone over to have the curry?s head office speak to Mark and explain basic consumer rights. Eventually received my replacement (with a little grovelling thrown in) as I should have done. Have a pending complaint regarding Marks extremely poor conduct and alarming lack of training.
