Hidden in the library, this little cafe has the loveliest staff, great cakes at wonderful prices and a menu with something for everyone, from light eaters and bigger appetites.
We had a lovely conversation with some staff members and hope our youngest son gets to work with such a fabulous team when he grows up.

Nice cafe in Workington library serving a selection of cakes, lighter meals and drinks. Very reasonable prices. Located on a junction of a busy road, it's definitely a place to sit and watch the world go by. Staff are friendly. Thanks guys.
Parking: Plenty of on street or paid parking available locally.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible for wheelchair users as it's on the ground floor of the building.

We found this place today by accident and we are so glad we did. Our order was taken by Andrew with the help of another young man who we didnt get his name. Table service was fantastic, our waiter was very friendly and he made sure we had every thing we could possibly need. The food was amazing, the sausage especially was outstanding, but all the food was cooked and presented to a very high standard. I cannot praise the staff enough. Top quality service, top quality food. Such a lovely experience, wish we lived closer so we could come here more often,
