Popped into day for a quick breaky the wife got a cheese toasty the staff where very welcoming and polite the breakfast had 2 bacon scrambled egg tomatoes beans and a cumbernauld sausage overall it was a fine delicious breakfast but to me it should be a small breakfast as there is loads that should be there that wasent but for 7 pound I do think there should be fried egg black pudding fried bread and hashbrouns but non the less a brilliant little plate and delicious food 100% recommended and will be visiting agen next time I'm in town.

Loved it here. Popped in needing a quick bite before a long journey home. Really friendly welcome, great quick service and the food (lasagne) was both delicious and incredible value. I would not hesitate to recommend this place and it was so lovely hearing the staff being so friendly and chatting to their regulars

Visited more than a handful of times and the staff are always so lovely and welcoming as well as accommodating when I'm visiting with the pram in tow. Food portions are generous and great value for money and the lemon meringue pie is amazing. Highly recommend visiting!

We visited here on a visit to the town centre for my husband's birthday. We wanted to find a cafe/restaurant as the one we wanted to visit had closed. Long story short, the food was decent but nothing special. The service was friendly but again nothing special and the place was very clean but felt a bit cramped. Nothing to avoid here, but nothing to make me go out of my way to visit.

Great service and good food, can get very busy but there is more seating upstairs, never have to wait to long for your food and drink and very reasonable prices.

An excellent family cafe. Lovely people and great friendly atmosphere. Try to call kn St least once a week. Good clean food. Xmas time the dinners are top rated. Well worth a visit.

This is a busy little restaurant for the simple reason that it is awesome. It was our first visit today and we were lucky to get a table. The turnover is quick, not rushed, and the menu concise enough to give enough options but to be quickly prepared. Our food was out in a flash, fresh salads, quality meats, lovely big pot of tea. The cost is perfectly balanced, the staff tremendous and our whole meal was a delight. I genuinely cannot wait to come back for lunch again! I wish more restaurants were like this!

Lovely family run tearoom in the heart of Workington town centre, a great selection of sandwiches, paninis, cakes and light snacks, daily specials and lovely coffee. If you are visiting Workington you need to visit this little gem. Staff are really friendly polite and very professional. Cannot recommend highly enough. 5?

A good breakfast spoiled by knives that wouldn?t cut butter never mind bacon, atmosphere quite noisy with a ?lady? cackling every two minutes, she obviously enjoyed herself while everyone else was stuck listening to her. Facilities are a bit of a trek to get to, poor design. Not sure I?d bother visiting

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes aren't clearly marked in the menu, but as soon as we mentioned it, our waiter recommended vegetarian options to us. This way I took a quiche which I hadn't spotted on the menu before.
