I went into the workington store with my girlfriend to pay for a cooker and arrange delivery. While my girlfriend was at the counter I was walking round the store with my dog looking around. The geordie shop assistant came up to me and shouted get out of here your barred. She said she recognised my dog and after the carry on I'd apparently made the week before and shoplifting she said I had to get out. At this point my girlfriend came over to see what all the fuss was and she was accusing me of shoplifting. After discussion she admitted she'd got it wrong so both myself and my girlfriend asked for an apology but she didn't give me one. I was so embarrassed. The shop was full aswell. Although some customers did hear her say she'd got it wrong and she also said in front of them that she thinks the lad what did shoplifting the week before was jailed anyhow it didn't stop me from wishing the ground would open up and swallow me. Also if that's what she thought that the lad was in prison then obviously she had a go at me for no reason. I really don't understand. So I came away with no apology and left feeling totally embarrased and I wouldn't care my girlfriend buys out of there a lot but she won't be anymore. Disgusting what she done to me
