I visited Bensons for Beds, Workington, Cumbria 10/03/2025. I had seen a bed online but wanted some in person advice. I was greeted by Andi, who was very jolly, polite and non pushy. He put me at ease straight away. He left me to look around at showroom stock but I couldn't see what I wanted. I approached Andi and showed him a photo. He got everything up on the computer and after me asking questions, he proceeded to advise on everything I wanted, showing mattresses etc. On my request, he left me to have a think about things. I felt that I had been given all the advice/information I needed so decided to place my order. Andi, helped me with delivery options to suit my needs. Now I can't wait for delivery. Andi, you're an asset to the store. Thanks so much for your help ?

The delivery team were kind, courteous and helpful. They delivered a new mattress to my first floor flat and took away the old one to be recycled. They were quick and efficient.
I thanked them and asked they pass on my thanks to Angela in the Workington store for handling the sale so kindly. They said of course and that they knew Angela, a wonderful, long serving staff member.
I feel I have received excellent customer care from a 'family' business. Thank you!

Ordered here. Delivery put back repeatedly. Originally supposed to be delivered early September, actually delivered late October. Bed arrived in damaged condition. Customer services contacted repeatedly over both issues, no real response or responsibility taken. No compensation given. Just dreadful from start to finish to be honest. The mattress is very nice, but would source elsewhere if I needed to buy again.

Really friendly helpful lady helped us find what sort of mattress would suit us. No pressure to buy, left to mooch. We went because buying online you can't test the mattresses. One firm felt very different to another.

On entering the store we were not immediately set up on, like in other stores - this is such a turnoff. Instead Ryan allowed us time to look round and offered assistance when we asked. Upon deciding what we liked Ryan was so happy to help us further with other suggestions. It was truly his customer service that got us to come back and make our purchase.
