Fabulous Sunday lunch - if not one of the best and tastiest we’ve had! Service great and very reasonably priced - if you’re ever in Bowness-On-Windermere walk up the hill and you’ll not be disappointed!!

Cod was nice. Chicken pie ok. Meat pies had sold out but apparently have changed since new management. This might explain why chicken pie was only ok. Sounds like there are going to be lots of changes so will have to see what it is like next year.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. We had the Sunday Roast which was excellent and the sticky toffee pudding which was the lightest I have ever tested. Environment was lovely, not as noisey and busy as a lot of places in Bowness. Service was friendly and excellent. Dog friendly too. We will definitely go back there again and would...

We are a traditional Lakeland Inn less than 5 minutes walk to Lake Windermere.
In our cosy comfortable bar we have up to 5 real ales, premium lagers, wines, spirits, an excellent selection of Gins and a good selection of cocktails, we have a good local choice of drinks including some real ales from Jennings brewery, a selection of spirits from the Lakes Distillery including Whisky, Gin and Vodka.
We have a dining room on the ground floor offering a traditional pub menu everyday, and a Sunday Roast served every Sunday Lunch time (till around 3pm).
We also have a mezzanine level overlooking the dining room with comfy settees and chairs to enjoy a drink either before and after your meal or just to relax at anytime.
