Bloke who served me was sound, think I was the only person in the store at the time and when he saw me approach the checkouts he quickly stopped moving stock and ran over. Told him there was no rush and he was sound about it all, top man.

A pour range for self-caterers. What ever happened to the packets of flavoured couscous ?

A good place to shop for groceries and your daily items. You got to be a member to purchase items from this co op.

Good selection of things but the Cooperative down the hill at Bowness has a bigger range of stock.

I have just visited Windermere co op and was greeted by a male on the cash out. I asked for a bag, which was basically thrown at me, he had no intention of helping me in any way, he just kept glugging on whatever drink he was intent on finishing and didn't even bother asking me for my loyalty card.I have been loyal to the co-op for many years now, but I see the level of customer service going down on a daily basis. Maybe it's time I shopped at Sainsbury.

today I went with my colleague to the co-op to buy some bottles of cola. on the shelf hdid not write that there is a limit. when we arrived at the cashier we were told that we should only take 2 per persons, this we also did, after we were told that if we came together we are allowed to take only 1btt per person. we didn't agree with this because we were 2 different people, so 2 per person. the cashier called the supervisor, who was very nervous, yelling and telling us that these are the rules and if we do not agree we can leave. then I reacted and told him that I want my bottles of cola and that he shouldn't treat the clients that way. He started yelling, telling me to get out and never get back in the coop again. What behavior is this? The management sould take measures.

For the third time in a week I was falsely charged at a lake district co-op. Check your receipt and that any deals advertised have actually been accounted for. It is no coincidence that I have never been under-charged. Today I opted for a self-service machine so I could check the deals on the tomatoes and grapes had been added. Two machines were both faulty so I went to the cashier. She was overrun and seemed to be the only person working there. She rang my shopping through and moved onto the next person as I checked the receipt to see I had been cheated once again. Consistent false marketing.
