Arrabiata is nothing like an authentic Italian one, virtually zero chilli and too much tomato.....the carbonara is a creamy mess like most in the UK.....if you are looking for authentic Italian quality food, this is not the place....it's an upmarket, expensive tourist cafe.....

Best dinner experience in Windermere! Food was great and service was excellent.
The tasteful fusion was really unique. We had trouble finding our ride back to the hotel and staff offered us a taxi to call, which is really appreciated.

We ordered pizza. They don?t taste like Italian pizza or American pizza. Ham and pepperoni are weird, chicken is dry. The bread tastes so cheap. The pizza I bought from supermarket is even better.

The staff in this restaurant were fantastic. There were a couple of steps to the front door. The staff came out and helped me get my mum out of her wheelchair and into the restaurant. Another staff member took the wheelchair in. They did the same on the way out. They even helped my mum into her wheelchair. You can't ask for better service than that. They went above and beyond.

Couldn't rate them highly enough.
Lovely food, great environment, amazing staff and very welcoming to a family with a pram. Honestly they went above and beyond, and the next time we're in the lakes we'll be going back.

We ordered veggie rigatoni, king prawn pasta , penne arrabiatta and tagliatelle pesto, all of which was excellent. Location in Windermere towncentre is also excellent.

We ordered the prawn pasta, sea bass, and salmon ? everything was absolutely delicious! Each dish was perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The service was also really good ? friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal and quality ingredients.

Asked about sitting down for a drink maybe thinking about some food and we're told at 18:00 that this wasn't possible. I thought the gentleman was frankly a little rude. The food and atmosphere may be good but we went given the chance to find out. We ate across the road at Tapios where the staff were friendly and accommodating whilst looking over at empty seats in Cafe Italia. Go figure..

Service and atmosphere are very nice but the food is very bland, pizza and salmon were tasteless using cheap/frozen ingredients.
