13 of us went this evening for a meal & every meal was fabulous. Large portions & good service. Would definitely go back again for a meal. Lots of choice on the menu too.

We had a lovely family Christmas get together here, the staff were fantastic very attentive, the food all came out at the same time, no easy job with 12 of us and was great, everyone enjoyed theirs, my only criticism would be we were on two large round tables put together which didn't lend itself to being able to have conversations with the whole group, it would have been better with oblong tablets, but it didn't ruin the lunch.thank you to all for a lovely lunch we will be back?

Had a fabulous Xmas Dinner at Whitehaven Golf Club last night. TBH, I go there frequently and the food is always very nice, but last night's was outstanding. The Staff are very helpful and kind, the dinning area is pleasant, warm and clean. Well deserved 5*

Came here for an evening meal. Waitresses were friendly and service was quick. I had the beef madras with rice. The beef was cooked well, although for my tastes there could have been more sauce and a little bit spicier.

We were a group of 20 people who had originally booked Brewers Fayer at Howgate for food. On arrival we were told that they didn't have our booking and that they wouldn't accommodate us. We had called them on Friday evening to confirm this booking and was told "yes we have your booking for 6.30pm". So now we have 20 hungry people, but a phone call to Whitehaven Golf club and they said " yes we can accommodate you, but please give us an hour to sort the tables out" We arrived to a very warm welcome from the staff, we were seated and our orders taken. The waitress that took our order asked if we would like the kids meals brought out with the starters, excellent customer service.Now on to the food we had a variety of items from the menu and LET ME TELL YOU THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL, not a single complaint. Personally I had a steak and asked for it to be rare, it was cooked to Perfection.We will be back again individually and as a group.WELL DONE WHITEHAVEN GOLF CLUB, This is how customer service should be and has gained new returning custom.

Booked a table for lunch today as in west Cumbria as my partner is coeliac so requires gluten-free food. We found that they catered exceptionally well for special diets with lots of choices for all. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the staff were excellent and the food didn't disappoint. Fantastic around.
