It is like going back to the eighties.tiny screen that's very close to the seating.and the sound was way to high for speakers and size of the cinema.alot of base.just could not get into the film due to the quality.nachos or popcorn which were not nice or 6 different bags of sweets was your full selection of food and beverages even less selection.

Hadn't been to The Gaiety since 1999, when I was a kid growing up in West Cumbria. Absolutely love old cinemas so have been meaning to visit when I'm back visiting family for a long time.
Fabulous cinema, very comfortable given the fact it isn't a brand new place by any stretch of the imagination.
Bargain price (£7.00 booked online) and £5.50 for a large popcorn and fizzy drinks - exceptional value when compared to my local cinema back home in Sheffield.
Will try to make a visit a regular thing when I'm in the area.

Local cinema. Friendly staff. Licensed Bar for drinks as well as the usual pop. Popcorn and snacks. Good value. Can book tickets online but might be cheaper if you just turn up. Less choice of seats though, obviously.

Watched Furiosa - A Mad Max Saga this afternoon at this Cinema. Tickets cost £5.75. Good selection of sweets and snacks available at very good prices so you don?t need to bring your own. There?s also a bar.
Auditorium itself was clean and seats were comfortable. Go for row G if you prefer a little more legroom.
I love visiting the cinema whenever I can and always prefer the smaller independent traditional cinemas (like this one) over the big chains.

Went for a game of bingo with my daughter and had a very nice experience. Staff very helpful especially when they noticed (not me) that I was playing the wrong bingo page... You can tell I dont play bingo often, but I will definitely go again. Very nice evening.
