Staff arguing behind the counter and then my change forcibly put in my hand, staff member clearly knew they were in the wrong because they apologised right away.
Not good enough, don?t let your staff problems over spill to the customer.

We had a worst experience on 20/5 late night with one of the receptionist while purchasing. He was so rude and arrogant with us and he was throwing the items and irritating again and again with us. We had same kind of worst experience with this same guy. Such a disgusting person. Atleast hire someone who shows minimum respect to the customers

Shocking customer service from some staff members my Autistic son was awaiting his brother's been served today & stepped inside the shop at the side of the door due to it being cold not bothering no one or in any one's way for then to be shouted at by a female member of staff to GET OUT! This has affected my son to the point he will not enter the shop for a long time possibly ever again absolutely disgraceful no morals or empathy towards a child standing alone certainly lost my custom for good!

My wife and I love Spar Whitehaven. We visit regularly and it's always open, literally! Even on Christmas Day you can pop in and grab forgotten items to make Christmas complete. 10 out of 10

Handy petrol station and general store

Don't have a problem with filling station or spar shop. I heard good things about the butchers Graham Eyes especially their sausages. Took advantage of their offer 2 packs for £8-00. But soo disappointed.
Both packets says world famous sausgaes.
Tried porkies and naughty peppery. Sadly bad move. Peppery one was inedible due to having texture of cardboard also ridiculously high salt content. Should have a health warning.
The porkies were sadly textureless, bland and tasteless. Local seagulls will eat well

Says it?s 24 hours but they will only serve you through a hatch. I drove 15 miles to get some food to take with medication to be told there?s no access to the store. What a waste of my time and Petrol.

Excellent choice of food, drinks, quality butcher on site, look out for bargains!. Freshly made sandwiches, rolls, fancy a pizza? Yes they can make one! All staff friendly, the sell fuel as well!

Staff get paid minimum wage, 30 hours per week, with 6 hours of mandatory overtime. The manager, Darren, also spoke in a disgusting tone during the job interview; if that?s how he speaks to prospective employees, then I?d hate to see how he treats his actual employees!At least that explains the poor reviews relating to staff behaviour - minimum wage, minimum effort!

Spoken to in a rude manner by staff at till to move away as I'm disabled i needed a second to move myself but she did not give me this time, to turn round and have 2 members of staff squeezing past me in a tiny gap close enough to kiss me i have anxiety this made me have a panic attack. Great thanks never againI did send an email to be told they are sorry that this happened and things are in place for this not to happen and they will go and see the behaviour of shoppers in store, but it was your staff that acted in a rude manner and stood less than 5cm behind me, I have anxiety this was not fantastic for me thanks
