I'll take back everything i ever said about this hotel. I left an item behind in my room, it must have slipped out my pocket as i walked out the room. The woman on the desk, maybe a teen/early 20s took the time to contact someone who made my booking for me and passed a message to me several hours after i checked out to come and collect it if i wished. Very impressive service. This is in contrast to anothe premier inn, i left an electric toothbrush in the m40 banbury premier inn, i had to ring them up, they told me they had the item in their lost and found and when i went to collect it wasn't there, gave them a very deserved 1star Just shows the differing standards with some premier inn's..... Going back to the Whitehaven PI very happy they did that, top top service

Pretty much a standard Premier Inn so you know what to expect if you've stayed in one before. Check in was smooth and simple and the room was clean. Breakfast was served in the adjacent Brewers Fayre. This site was on the outskirts of Whitehaven so it was very quiet which was a bonus.

Very good value for money. The hotel was clean and fully functional. Staff was also very efficient and keen to help.
Plenty of parking free
Breakfast is also good.

We Arrived at the Hotel. We Booked a Family room. We were put on the 2nd floor with a little one in a Disabled Buggy/Wheelchair. The woman behind the desk told us that there was no family rooms on the ground floor. So me and my partner managed to get everything up stairs when we got to the room there was only a Double bed and a single bed in the room where we clearly booked for 4 of us. We went back to reception where we were moved rooms. But by magic it was on the ground floor but no family rooms there apparently ?. The room was boiling the fan was awful the towels were rough. The bed was uncomfortable

Everything about the place was shocking.

No cooling system only fans provided. And the window was opened before getting in, so some mosquitoes were inside already.
No lifts, only can bring the heavy luggages on our own by climbing up/down stairs.

Buildings themselves looking a bit tired, but rooms are clean and modern with comfy beds. A word to note is pub restaurant on site can close early

DON'T eat at the restaurant. The queue's are long, the service is extremely slow and it took over an hour to receive my food ( lasagna, chips and salad) 1 out of 10 and that was for an apology from the waitress.

We had a 3 night stay at this premier inn. On arrival when checking in and paying we were told our room wouldn't be cleaned unless we asked for it to be done, I felt this strange as never had this at other P.I. we were also told to book a table if wanting to eat at brewers fayre that night which was done for us. When we went for our meal the waitress who took our order was extremely stressed with tills not working properly. Our meal was lovely and enjoyed it very much, the tables were very sticky to touch and some cutlery was not clean.
Day 2, down for breakfast all good no problems and booked with the restaurant manager for evening meal. Had a nice day out. On return we received an email from Zoe Buckton telling us due to unforeseen staffing issues the BF rest will be closing at 5pm today, sorry for any inconvenience caused, this was not good news as the nearest restaurant was a car journey away meaning we could not drink.
We decided we would pack up and head home. When I went to reception to hand over key card I told them about the email. I know Premier inn and Brewer Fayre are 2 companies but still need to work together . I told them I would send a review and a member of staff ask me to give 5 stars or it would impact their reputation, also there was no guarantee of breakfast for day 3.
Sadly this is the first time we have encountered problems with premier inn.
I look forward to an early reply.

The reception staff are always nice and helpful and I've never had an issue with a room.
There is plenty of parking and there's a Brewers Fayre on site.

Spacious room, needs a bit of repair work - small hole in wall next to bathroom and bedside nightshade ripped in quite a few places.
