I wouldn't shop here even if they give it away. Rude staff and cold dingy shop. Prices way above anywhere else because they are the only hardware place in town. Need a visit from trading standards about theor polices. Never again, even another customer wished us luck in trying to get things sorted out because he had the same problem we did. If you can shop elsewhere

Sells all the essentials and not badly priced staff are pretty friendly, however I would be wary purchasing a bathroom suite. The trap on the shower I had installed less than 12 months ago has cracked causing a leak to into my freshly boarded ceiling and newly fitted kitchen. Dyno rod engineer said the trap was very poor quality and I should source an alternative. Shower PVC needs to be replaced, down light in kitchen needs replaced, boards have warped and now need repainted. Absolutely devastated!

Great little independent hardware/DIY store in the centre of Whitehaven, just off the marketplace. A bit of a Tardis, with a surprising amount of space crammed full of pretty well everything you could need for your gardening, home decorating, DIY and building needs.
