Building and decor is quirky and amazing
The staff are brilliant, friendly, professional and attentive
Fiid amazing, best we have had in Cumbria, quality ingredients, well cooked and presented

We stayed here for two nights
The room was luxurious and the shower was fantastic
The properties was great
The town of Whitehaven you need to go and visit there is history the sea a beach
Shops restaurants and pubs
There are walks you can do what more oh the people of Whitehaven are the most welcome and friendly people I have ever met
It?s that great I would live there
The restaurant of the hotel is out of this world
We had mussels to start and scallops
Then duck and a fish dish
All amazing the food was but the duck was the best we have had in all the restaurants we have visited cooked spot on
If you can?t get into the hotel you must try the restaurant it is amazing honestly
The breakfast was wonderful served by a lovely lady

Room was very neat, clean and luxurious. Had a 7am start the next day, and they prepared a takeaway breakfast bag for me as I'd not have made their breakfast served from 8:30 (on weekends). I asked if the bar would be open upon my late return however they said it wouldn't. They left two beers at my room door, very grateful as I had had a long very active day. Stephanie was very friendly and helpful. Vegetarian breakfast the following day was good. Only issue is there is no parking on site. Parking is available at Strand Street parking, and Stephanie informed me that it can be booked in advance. I'll save you time - head to www.tap2park.co.uk location code 8583 to book. It's a stone throw away from the harbour / promenade, and the town centre. They were even great with the price!
I'd highly recommend a stay at the Georgian House Hotel if you're visiting Whitehaven.

We had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant in the Georgian House Hotel last night, and it was a truly superb experience. From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the scallops and sea bass. The scallops were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the sea bass was fresh and expertly prepared. The presentation of each dish was impeccable, showcasing the chef's attention to detail and culinary skill.
Complementing the exquisite food was an impressive selection of cocktails. Each one was crafted with care. I requested a cocktail that wasn?t listed on the menu, and the waiter went above and beyond to make sure this was possible for me.
What made the evening even more special was the amazing service. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making sure that every need was met with a smile.
Overall, dining at the Georgian House Hotel was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding food and top-notch service. I look forward to returning soon!

Eight ladies went for my birthday, on arrive, we went into a beautiful deco filled room with sofas for pre meal drinks a few of us had cocktails which were very nice before we were shown to our table, we were shown to a large table which had high seats which we all found comfortable, the food was amazing and the staff and service was fantastic. All eight of us say we would definitely go back.

Absolutely fantastic hotel!
Stayed here numerous times for business and love it!
Super clean & modern bathrooms, powerful showers and complete with nice touches such as thick towels and Elemis shower gel and shampoo.
Rooms are also very clean & modern with a "boutique" feel. Again with lovely small touches such as complimentary crisps, water and Tassimo coffee machine (instant coffee also in the room).
Amazing food too and a lovely service!
Only downside is lack of parking but you can park nearby so not an issue to me.
Highly recommend!

What a great little place, hidden in the back streets of Whitehaven, this little Gem is worth a look if your after a stay. Food is outstanding as well. Lee and Steph are great hostsRooms: Individual boutique rooms, no two are the same.
