I had BHS out recently to make a small repair to a patch of blown render. All was reasonably ok until I received the invoice, Ian Barber had charged out 24hrs labour instead of the 7.5 it should have been. Despite several phone calls and emails this was not rectified, not until I contacted one of the builder organisations he's a member of requesting they mediate.Once they were involved it was rectified quite promptly, but note, this was a difference between the £600 labour originally charged and the £187.50 he corrected it to.I find it hard to give this situation the benefit of the doubt.
