What a lovely place! We were staying at the hotel up the road and stopped by for a quick breakfast. We had a biscoff cake and a lemon/blueberry cake. Both were very delightful!!

What a special Tea Room this is, from the fabulous staff, to all homemade cakes, which is extremely rare these days, to the atmosphere, friendly locals who so appreciate this place.
I had Avocado and Tomatoes for breakfast, after that an absolutely amazing massage with Zoe from Enliven Therapies, which is just upstairs. Then had trio of Bruschetta for lunch.

An amazing place, great food, great staff and you just come out feeling fabulous. Completely recommend the waffles, bacon and maple syrup - seriously good food. Then I had lunch too - home made leek and potato soup which was delicious. I?ll be back soon - you must go too !!!

We were lucky enough to have a hen party with your selves this weekend !
The cafe was decorated tastefully especially for us and the food was amazing! Staff could not have been more helpful and we all had a great afternoon !! Thanks to Liz and the team for making us so welcome !

Friendly local tearooms and coffee shop, homemade cakes including gluten free. Nice atmosphere, attached to village store and post office. If loose teas were on offer would up to 5 stars. Cakes looked nice but only had drinks so no detailed rating for food given.

Absolutely fantastic. We got cappuccinos and fruit scones with the clotted cream and jam. Everything was so flavorful and amazing. They said the scones were made that morning. Cute little cafe on the inside. Nice selection of treats and cakes but we didn't try any. The employees were the sweetest women ever and they were so welcoming and friendly. Would go daily if I lived in the area.

I visited yesterday on a recommendation and was pleased with the friendly welcome I got from the staff. I sat outside in the back patio it was so peaceful just listening to the birds. My coffee and scone was wonderful. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.

Holidaying in Wetheral, tried the Posting Pot for lunch. Lovely food (club sandwich so tasty and salmon bagel great). Everything tasted fresh and the accompaniments of crisp, coleslaw and salad were very welcome. No room for cake though after quite large portions?. Staff very friendly and as it was a nice day we were able to sit outside. Would recommend. Hope to return.

Just absolutely perfect!! From the lovely welcome, the friendly service, brilliant atmosphere, all homemade cakes which is very rare these days, great tea, and the loveliest Christmas cake served with cheese if you wanted it (yes I did) which I tucked into while reading my slimming magazine!!
You have something very special ladies.
Also while your visiting the cafe you should tie in an Indian Head Massage with Zoe above The Posting Pot at Enliven Therapies.

Great atmosphere delicious food and all home cooked. With amazing home made puddings.
