I?ve been getting my nails done in multiple places for years now and never had a problem. On moving to the area I thought I would try TK Nails, after about 2 experiences with them I will probably never be getting my nails done again.I had biab put on around 2 months ago, baring in mind I had been on my biab journey for about 2 years with healthy nails. The biab lasted about a week before my nails started to snap. On removal (done by the shop) my nails have been damaged to the point where they?re considerably thin, snap constantly & extremely painful. The tools and methods they are using are not suitable whatsoever and will do more harm than good to your nails. I did actually have to tell the lady who removed the biab at the time that the mini drill tool that she was using was burning, she continued to use it despite my concerns.Well over a month later, I have developed a fungal infection under the nails, and when seeking advice off the pharmacist about this she said that it?ll be associated with the nails I had put on and the removal procedure. This will now probably take months to recover from with medication from the GP.I would strongly advise that people keep away from here, no matter how badly you want your nails done.

Please do not use tk nails!I am very unsure of the products they use and if they're even legal in this country and the tools they use damage your nails. The nail sanding machine they use has taken off so much of my actual nail that now, with nothing on them, hurt so much! I have VERY strong natural nails and I can now barely do day to day things without them bending back and/or breaking (that's with them being cut right down as far as they will go to where no white tip is left).I am fully aware that when you have gels or the like put on your nails, it will weaken your nails somewhat but many a time I've had my nails done and I have never seen them so bad.One of the notices they have up is "Your nails are jewels, not tools." Well, it seems they don't really care for your nails and do use them as tools. So please, if you care at all for your nails, don't use TK nails, even if you are desperate to have them done.

i came in for acrylic gel nails a few weeks ago, i've always come to Tk i've had good experiences. however this time i accidentally knocked my nail design when putting my hand into the UV light and the guy was quite rude about it even though i said sorry and it was an accident. i then just felt uncomfortable after that as he over reacted and removed every other nail design and re did it which was not necessary. i asked the price at the end and told them i was going to get money out of cash machine i walked back in to the other guy saying "phew" as i walked in and they both laughed as if to say they were assuming i wasn't going to return. unnecessary rudeness and comments, i wont be returning again.

We had to wait for a while understandably as they were very busy. But me and my daughter had a lovely experience today. It was my first time taking my daughter for her nails done with me today, she is 5 and she came away with a big smile on her face having matching nails like mummy. She said it made her feel like a proper big girl. Very professional and lovely experience. Would definitely recommend ? ive also added two pictures of previous sets I had done for my holiday and a friends wedding.
