Stayed at this lovely cosy Inn for one night when visiting our Daughter and Son-in-law who had acquired a static caravan in Bouth we took our little chihuahua along with us. Everything was excellent, clean beautiful en-suite facilities, spotless bedroom with Freeview TV, also a fan which as it was very warm came in handy and the best cooked breakfast we have ever had all in all a fantastic stay, as it is a small cosy Inn we were concerned as when we checked in there is only a small parking area at the front as shown on the website and it was full, there is room opposite along side the wall but we were concerned as farm tractors frequently use the lane, however when we returned at 8.30pm there were more bikes than cars so parked without a problem.

Beautiful little pub for a bite to eat or for drinks, lovely couple who own it they are so helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend thanks guys ?

This was a beautiful inn with lovely accommodations. The staff were very kind and welcoming and the bar area was cozy. The rooms were clean and nice. The beds were really comfy and the food was delicious. As a person with celiac disease, it was amazing that they had gluten free options! Highly reccommend.

I had the most amazing 4 days staying at this traditional pub that is full of character, friendly local people, amazing views from the beer garden, the breakfast is supeb it will set you up for the day, the Landlady and Landlord are so amazing and friendly and will help you in any way they can, I will return and thank you so much..

A super friendly traditional pub, great drinks, food and prices! The minute we walked in, we were greeted by the locals plus the owner and felt right at home. This is a rare example of what pubs used to be like before it all became chain run and modern same same look and feel. Honestly refreshingly brilliant!
Food - EXCELLENT pub grub; no messing, no pretentious rubbish and fully wholesome. Would have had 3 courses but genuinely stuffed after 2.
Prices - spot on, fair and decent!!
Atmosphere - the owner and staff were really friendly and welcoming. The locals were lovely and included us so you never felt like the tourist that you are.
Recommend booking for food in advance to secure a table ... if you're in the area would definitely recommend supporting this local business.

Lovely owners at the Red Lion, Steve & Lucy, cute traditional pub in a quiet location, wanted peace, and we certainly got it, slept like babies, room had everything you need, bed was comfy, lovely & clean, modern ensuite shower room, food was delicious traditional hearty pub grub, breakfast was perfect, dogs welcome, 100% recommend, you won't be disappointed - Sam & Andy.
