Came here, am still here as I pen this review. Easy to find opposite The Old Market. No fancy wait here till we find you a table! Just warm verbal welcome, speedy table service, good quality home cooked fare, very reasonably priced. Don't go anywhere else.

Always good home cooked food served by friendly and helpful staff. Seen the staff support customers who are having difficulties. Great set of regular customers to chat and catch up with. Better than home.

Just nipped to Ulverston & called in here, for a bit of breakfast. Lovely staff, very helpful & polite, food was lovely & what a great price. I'll definitely be back again. Highly recommended. Thanks Old Bakehouse, 5 star.

This has to be the worst english breakfast I have ever been served.
They clearly had pre-cooked all meats as they were massively overcooked. The bacon was rock hard. The hashbrown was greasy. 1 tea spoon of beans. The cappuccino was a flat white coffee with milk foam. Not correctly made. The food was bad i did politely tell the lady however I was still charged full price.
No discount no apology given. Do not go unless you want to waste ur money. The toilet area is absolutely appalling and filthy.

I came here with my family for breakfast baps but I need gluten free food. As they don't offer gf baps I had to have something I didn't really want, jacket potato. Surely it wouldn't be difficult to keep some gf baps frozen for when people want them? I couldn't have the soup either because there was no gf bread. Lots of people are gf and they are all excluded here!My coffee was nice though and my family all enjoyed their baps.

Surely it wouldn't be too difficult to keep some gf baps/bread frozen for the event that someone asks for it? Lots of people have to avoid eating wheat but want to be included in eating with their families. My family did say that their baps were tasty and my coffee was nice.
