4 brand new chargers less than a week old but only charging at 9kwh. Customer services not much help.

Although only 50kw its the fastest charger for miles around and was giving me the full 50. Good location in supermarket car park each device has both a CCS and chademo and the supermarket has a cafe.

Charger 1 (far left as you look at the bank of chargers) says that my contactless debit card is unsupported. Managed to get a charge using the prepayment feature on the InstaVolt app but it was incredibly slow due to poor coverage in the car park at Booths. Either the charger need to accept contactless or the mobile coverage needs addressing

Bad experience! Even if the charge points worked perfectly, everything about the charge points location is wrong. Charging bays do need to be a bit larger than normal parking bays for a whole range of reasons. These aren't, making using them difficult. They are also sited in the worst possible location, right next to the only car park exit. This means cars trying to exit are constantly "on" you when trying to reverse into the bays.The low-tech displays are virtually unreadable at certain times of the day, due to sunlight. I had already installed the app, created an account and added a payment card, the day before. Instavolt is meant be easy using a contactless payment card, so I thought I would try that first. Tried a mastercard, "not authorised", tried my bank card "not authorised" tried the app, all seamed well, but it got stuck on the authorisation stage, even though I had mobile data. Tried another bay. Same problem with all three methods. Finally worked using my partners bank card, but only said it was authorised for £15. So we waited in car so we could charge a 2nd time, when the £15 limit was reached. In the end there wasn't a limit and the car did get fully charged! So I give 2 rather than zero as I did end up with a fully charged car, but would only use again as a very last resort!

Have used these chargers twice since arriving in Lakes at the weekend.Slightly slow at just under 50kw, but plenty of time for shopping in Booths or Mountain Warehouse if you forgot your walking boots etc. Booths have a cafe and there is also McDonalds on site. Chargers a bit tatty. Cables seem to fall out of storage bins. This needs sorting out.

Absolutely RIDICULOUS. I did a £15 authorisation on my bank card and it didn't work. I started the complete process again thinking it was something I was doing wrong, only for it not to work again. I then moved to another charger- went through the entire process again, for it to this time work. I spent 22 mins exactly on charge, got home and had a notification on my bank app saying I've been charged £45 for THREE charges ?. I've tried ringing the company but it's ALL automated. I have to send email complaint. Fair to say I'm very annoyed.Electric is the WORST decision I've ever made.

I only use a last resort which is most months since the change with EoN non of my debit cards will work or charge point cards app working ok though usually at least one machine (as today) showing a fault. Could be faster too

It's one of VERY few rapid charging stations in this area and unfortunately the four chargers are only 50 kWh, but they usually work and the Instavolt helpline is quick to answer and efficient if you need help.

No clear numbers on each station. App shows chargers 1-4 I thought I was on 3 but actually 2. They are numbered 1-4 from left to right looking at them. Other than that good charge but expensive.

Contactless payment isnt working on any of the chargers so make sure you have the app ready with money.
