Ford Park is a beautiful, 8 acre walled community green space in the heart of Ulverston. In the large Grade II Victorian walled garden there's a greenhouse, a plant nursery, fernery and shop. The playing fields are popular with dog walkers and families and are used for many local festivals and events. You'll also find a playground area, woodland trail, zigzag path and community meeting space and volunteer centre.
The park is managed by the Ford Park Community Group, a local charity set up to ensure Ford Park remains a beautiful, green space and community asset for the Ulverston community.
The park relies on funding, grants and donations plus monthly membership to maintain and develop this beautiful park.
